Best Picture: The Final Ranking
After nearly two years, I’ve watched every Best Picture winner in order, written about them on here, and given my ideas about what should’ve won instead. But the winners were the winners, so I may as well rank them because everybody loves a ranked list. Those of you who checked out my Letterboxd lists over the years may already be somewhat familiar with this ranking as I updated it each week when I watched a new winner but for everyone else, enjoy! And please, for the love of god, don’t take it too seriously. I simply haven’t the energy. My opinions are just that and nothing more. But if you are one of the weirdos who thinks my opinions and film preferences are anything more than that or who takes them as a personal attack, then perhaps you do deserve whatever distress the following list will cause you. Read on friends!
Note: usually links go to a page with everything listed mentioning the words in the link but for this, all links will lead to the articles I wrote about the films.
